GALA Choruses Festival International
July 17 to July 26, 2004
Montreal, Canada
Gala Choruses singers will be performing at Place des Arts, the
official concert hall, and the Notre-Dame Basilica for the occasion.
Based in Washington, DC, GALA Choruses is an international organization
that brings together more than 200 member choruses and 10,000 singers
from around the world. The size of choirs ranges from simple quartets
to ensembles of more than 200 singers. Their repertory is composed
of works that advocate social justice and reflect the concerns of
gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender individuals.
